Pigeon 'upload' beats internet

JOHANNESBURG - A SOUTH African information technology company on Wednesday proved it was faster for them to transmit data with a carrier pigeon than to send it using Telkom , the country's leading internet service provider.

Internet speed and connectivity in Africa's largest economy are poor because of a bandwidth shortage. It is also expensive.

Local news agency SAPA reported the 11-month-old pigeon, Winston, took one hour and eight minutes to fly the 80 km from Unlimited IT's offices near Pietermaritzburg to the coastal city of Durban with a data card was strapped to his leg.

Including downloading, the transfer took two hours, six minutes and 57 seconds - the time it took for only four per cent of the data to be transferred using a Telkom line.

SAPA said Unlimited IT performed the stunt after becoming frustrated with slow internet transmission times.

The company has 11 call-centres around the country and regularly sends data to its other branches.

Telkom could not immediately be reached for comment.

Internet speed is expected to improve once a new 17,000 km underwater fibre optic cable linking southern and East Africa to other networks becomes operational before South Africa hosts the soccer World Cup next year.

Local service providers are currently negotiating deals for more bandwidth. -- REUTERS

here i go again talking nonsensical stuff and a little freaky sentimental. Bear with me.

life is short (if you were to compare the amount of years an average human lives to the amount of centuries that Earth has been living, which is definitely an unfair comparison) and if you were to study in Republic Polytechnic, your lives seem shorter than ever.

Weeks ago there was a flu outbreak with hundreds to be sent home (thankfully no death cases), students committing suicide, students getting hit by a train and students ending their lives figuratively by doing so bad academically. No pun intended. Some of these can be controlled whereas some, pityingly, decided that life is so very much fucked up and the best solution is to fool around. Sickening thing is, they are damanging the lives of those around them.

For all those issues that i've mentioned none has a greater effecy than what im going to say next. This is something that i am unhappy yet still adapting to. That would be the Republic Polytechnic (RP) 'every semester's changing of class'. I know nuts why this system being used but i heard from some that this system is to expose students to the working life which supposedly also changes after every working semester. You'll meet new people everytime, face new challenges and with relevant to the semester changes to the facilitator (or known outside as teachers but facilitator task in RP is not to teach but to guide and manage the class. However they are good facilitators in RP that actually teaches so that the students understand and actually learning)

This class changing system isn't doing any good to me who is already having problems keeping friends. I prefer to stick with a group of friends rather than going around changing and making new friends, in and out. It wears me out. "It is extremely difficult to maintain friends," an outsider from another poly said to me. My mistake was not to told him that true friends stay by your side.

Another friend of mine told me otherwise, which i totally agreed, "A True Friend is the one that sticks by your side throughout the whole journey,". Even if you havent met him for months, everything seems normal when you meet and it is as though you met him the day before. A true friend should also be understanding. A friend who does not force you in doing something, ignores you when things do not go the way they want it to be and only be there when things are doing so well.

This is what i think a true friend should be. Feel free to disagree with me.

I hope to keep one or two friends from each of my semester classes if to keep all of them is deemed as impossible.

Call me a loser or whatever you want but i hate it when GOOD players leave liverpool.

It isnt uncommon to see players leave liverpool but it is uncommon to see good players to leave liverpool since injury prone owen. Losers like Alonso and Arbeloa had to leave liverpool.

I shant dwell on them. What a waste of my time.

Anyways, replacements have been lined up. Possible signings and rumours are,

Reputation for his 'Studs up' tackles, especially in this video where he silenced Kaka. Just love his tackles. He could replace mascherano if he were to leave for barcalona.

Another signing which i think is more of a rumour that a possibility is Sergio 'Kun' Agüero. He's talent is indescribable. Just watch the video of him.

One other possible signing is this fellow. I do not know much of him but my friends told me he is good. This video shows his goals only. He is injury prone, one of his bad points. However, he has the height and speed compared to Alonso. He could replace Alonso with the creativity, maybe.

Alberto Aquilani, 25, Central Midfielder, AS Roma, Italy.

Finally, a very less known replacement for Alonso would be, Lee Cattermole. I've never seen he played before and never heard of how good he is. A few video on him. Cross fingers that he is good, if we were to sign him. Plus point would be that he's English.

I watch these classic malay movies on youtube, not the entire movie but their songs.

If my facts were right, classic malay movies adapted the Bollywood movie structure which is to blend movie scenes with songs, which however has stopped being practiced by them. Bollywood still uses this structure to full effects.

These songs are catchy and makes one wonder how did they or HE ( P. Ramlee) came up with these ideas to have scenes of ghost or singing in a recording room. It amazes me further with the motive behind some of these scenes. I shant go further but in short watching these short clips of the movies would give me so much calmness and inspirations.

as i was playing restaurant city on facebook and football manager 09, that particular part of fix you by coldplay was playing in the head.

I have to write something before this week ends but i dont have the encouragement to write. Not that i have run out of stuffs to post about, it's just that i'm feeling rather extremely tired after a hectic week.

School reopening was a message for me that i should put on my thinking cap and get to my full fitess to be ready for the challenges ahead. Unfortunately, things didnt go as well as i would have expected, gracious and flawless.

Mistakes from the past resurfacing, for instance, to simply copy and paste slides, to have lunch without completing the powerpoint slides and finally, doing last minute work before next class begins. All these mistakes should have been dealt with before school restarts, however, i probably needed a few more weeks to get both of my feet on the ground.

The problem is that, the problem lies within me. What could have i done better or would it be good if i were to leave things on its on? Who would take responsiblity and to take initiative risking everything or something? Small decisions could lead to big consequences, right? No one is to say that it's wrong.

Guilty or innocent? who to decide? everyone seems to be doing well, what's there to worry? Would to look matters in long term solve anything? I'm tired and i should probably go rest straight away.

Uni Qlo is a Japanese casual wear designer, manufacturer and retailer which recently onpened its first store in singapore at the tampines new mall, Tampines 1.

And i want to make a confession regarding it. I may not be the best designer or best critic in the world but from what i've first experienced from that store was a total disappointment. CERTAIN singaporeans are labelling them the Japanese's Giordano. And that would be very disrespetful to Giordano, it should be Japanese's Hang Ten. As long as i've lived, i've never seen more than a singaporean (or two) wearing a Hang Ten apparel. I could be wrong though.

My point is, Uni Qlo's first impression was unimpressive. Firstly, i dont mind to wait in a queue for a few minutes to get into the store but just by viewing the store from outside, i have already made several judgements. The colors were amazing, white, pink, yellow and so on but the designs, werent of my type at all. Childlike printed t-shirts for men saying, one shot or something like that in blue and yellow colors which is the only eye catching. However, it was too 'childish' for me. I only found two types of plain t-shirts, expected. The polo tees were all colorfully stretched from yellow to blue but you'd be disappointed with the material. From my opinion, the material could sweat me like a pig. It could store my perspiration till the next morning since im one who perspires alot( but i dont stink ). Fine maybe its dry fit so it that type of material that could absorbs my sweat but i still find the material for a polo t too thick for me. So no UNI QLO polo t for me.

Here i've been fairly disappointed with the tops so i went for the accessories and if my eyes were cheating on me or did i not see any! They were only ladies? and for the jeans, at one glance, i thought its the ladies jeans section but then again, where's the men's jeans section? bewildered i was. there were even 5 counters, if i remembered correctly, available upon which none receiving any customers.

I heard they've gained high profits from their opening day and i wondered how did they do the subsequent days. Yes they are the Japan's top casual wear brand but definitely not in mine, yet. As for now, what impresses me the most is their COLORS, they have a wide range of colors!

About their setting, lets give them the benefit of a doubt that they were expecting large crowd so they had 5 counters and displayed loads of jeans and polo tees.Or could this possibly their promotion style.

Oh well, it is Japanese right? always perculiar. They're probably going to change the outlook of the shop in the next season right?

Not forgetting the pricing, it was quite impressive, quite expensive. Should i say, stardard pricing?

So if i were you, dont go there yet. Wait for this whole excitement to cool down, and come visit this shop in a month or two, or a season. There'll be an improvement from how it started, i hope.

UNI QLO IS SO OVERRATED.

More than 18,000 people from nearly 200 countries have applied for the "best job in the world," hoping to earn good money for lazing around on an Australian island, officials said Tuesday.

The deadline for applications for the post of "caretaker" of tropical Hamilton Island on the Great Barrier Reef looms on Sunday -- and the competition is already tough, the Queensland state government warned.

"We've been really overwhelmed by the lengths people are going to to draw attention to their applications," Tourism Queensland spokeswoman Nicole McNaughton told AFP.

"Potential applicants have sent out press releases, sourced their own media coverage and established websites dedicated to their applications."

Candidates are required to create a video application in English of up to one minute explaining why they are uniquely qualified for the job.

The job pays 150,000 Australian dollars (about 100,000 US dollars) for six months and includes free airfares from the successful candidate's home country to the white sands and clear waters of Hamilton Island.

In return, the winner will be expected to have as much fun as he or she can -- soaking up the sun, swimming, snorkeling, sailing -- and report to a global audience via weekly blogs, photo diaries and video updates.

The successful candidate -- who will stay in a multi-million-dollar three-bedroom beach home -- must be over 18, a "fantastic and charismatic" communicator, and able to speak and write English.

The campaign is a key element in a drive to promote the northeastern Australian state's 18-billion-dollar a year tourism industry during the tough global economic climate, officials say.

lately i've been busy finding job and going interviews on my own. People say it is much easier going alone than with company, and it proved to be right as i got one after two days of search. I thank my cousin for her help though.

This is my first fucking f&b job. I dont know what to expect and how i'm going to fare but i'm giving it a go. Im finally starting work and earn my own money. The feeling of working is similar to surrending my life to them. I would deprive of my laptop, tv, sleep and almost everything. AM i ready for this?

I'm 19 or in a weeks time and i have no fucking experience in this area. How am i going to do? Shit, fuck carrefour and metro for only accepting full time workers.

I've to report at plaza sing at 4pm today. I was told to bring, my passport photo and a photocopy of the first page of the bank book. Uniform wise, hair must be neat, black shoes and pants. Out of three i have none. My bushy hair is so far from fucking neat, black shoes and pants? can i use grey instead? or wait, i think they're providing them and i've to pay for them which means, they're cutting my pay, right?

lets not talk bout the pay, everyone knows that it is not much but in this period of recession, any job for me is worth a go.

I dont write good movie reviews but i wont miss another chance to tell you peps out there of a fucking damn good movie. It was out in US last December, whereas a day after my 19th birthday, 19 february here, in Singapore.

Clint Eastwood is the director, producer and the main charactor of this movie. Clint Eastwood acts as Walt Kowalski, Korean War vet who has just lost his wife. He owns a 1972 Gran Torino sports car, lives by his own and most american movies on war vet, they potray War vet as grumpy, heartless, stone headed, selfish and self-centred.

Walt Kowalski is all pessimistic and is petty bout everything, his granddaughter's attire, his son's attitude towards his will when he eventually dies, started out all about him. The place where he lives is facing an increase of Hmong moving in. Hmong is a race of people from China, Thailand and somewhere there, living in the mountains but moved from their land to find better place to live. Based on wikipedia, back then, during war times, they did lots of migration.

One Hmong family just moved in and were having a sort of ceremony for a newly born baby or something. Initially he was not so keen to talk but things will improve. The movie will go on and he will start talking to the family's children and will learn more bout the Hmong culture. The movie will come to a climax as the family started to have problems when a gang disturb them. This is when Mr Walty( the Hmong Family's daughter would call him that), the hmong's family son, Thao and the daughter Sue story kicks in. Worth to mention, the Priest that has promised mr Kowalski's wife to make him do a confession at the church who constantly make visits to make him confess, the barber who he will have the 'man-talk' with and so many other colourful characters in this movie.

I suck at writing a movie review but you guys have to catch it! How did i come to know this movie is when I visited this website, imdb.com when i was looking for a new upcoming movie and the rating for this movie is very good. Its 8.5 out of 10 but it's based on that website's visitors. However after watching it, it is no doubt why it has been giving high ratings.

Recently i've became interested in Clint Eastwood and have read some of his profiles and movies and come to realize that he has been producing and directing good movies. Gran Torino hasnt been released yet but i cant wait till 19 so watch it online. You can do it too, go to this website.

Earlier last year, a movie called ' Changeling' was released in US and it has received good reviews and a rating of 8.1 out of 10. GV website reviwers gave good review of the movie too. The movie director is none other than Clint Eastwood. Damn, i have to catch this one. By the way, it was out on the 15 January so yea, can watch it here.

Every single of you has played a fantastic role in making the 16 weeks with you guys a worthwhile one.

i was done viewing my secondary school's top O level students congrates to the two students being the nation's top scorer, when i came upon this page!

HAHA!
that picture is nothing big, no big deal actually but, that is so unglam! However, it is the memories that it has brought to me that is very significant to me.

if i am not wrong, that picture was taken in the year 2006 when it was my batch of sports captians exco members to manage the annual inter sports meeting..
it was a success, but the most exciting part was the preparation when we had to go home late, preparing banners, headbands, and everything. It was so damn fun working with you guys.
Then again, i dont think i did much help planning. hehe!

All i did was 'hooray-hooray' disturbing people.

Oh yes, one part i that i could remember is was the ending part when the sports meeting was over and every temasekian students were walking out of the jurong something2 stadium, and something quite emotional happened. That was when Aisya or someone else told the crowd that it was 'our' final project for the sports captians and how sad we were feeling to leave the sports captians and also the school. However i was the only one to not be leaving as i had to complete my N first. So yes, it was really a meaningful experience.

Quackers reunion. Here's a late photo upload. These were taken a month ago.
There were some absentees. We were missing Hisyam and Darren.

It's been 2 years since we last sat together in a circle talking about almost everything. The random stuffs that we have to say, it makes the whole experience worthwhile.

there won't be any uncomfortable feelings instead laughters around the circle.

reminiscing the good times, the chalets we had at sentosa and east coast park, the places that we slacked at siglap, 7-11 and playground. Not forgetting the jersey, it reminds me so much of you guys. Photos of the past are still in my CPU. I will make time to upload them.

Sometimes i feel that you guys were the one that made me who i am right now. You guys taught me trust, friendship, love.. and countless things. I've become someone who enjoys and appreciate life. I've learnt to love the simplest things in life, even if it may seem stupid to most. You guys have taught me that fame and shame is part of life and not a hindrance in life.

i am really greatful to have met such amazing mates like you. The secondary years with you have been wonderful. The 2 years of separation left me wondering if we are ever going to see each other more often in the future. I hope we do.

amazingly singapore was beaten 6-0 by iran in an asian football cup qualifying match at the Azardi-somthing-something stadium. There goes our chance of playing in the AFC 2011 at Doha. What is happening to our football national team? How are we going to face the other teams in our qualifying group like Jordan and Thailand?

Since the defeat to Vietnam or even before that semi-final we were winning the Suzuki Asean Cup with so much difficulty and with a few easy tap-in goals by Agu Casmir. Are we over reliant on foreign-based players that local-players are being ignored thus not creating much chances for Singaporean to play? We have sports schools, our own successful football clubs and recently i heard over the news, our league is supposedly to be one of the best in the region.

I dont know where i am going with this but im grumbling with no end here. Our national team played against the Vietnam at home with lack of creativity and passion. The recent thrashing f rom the Iran team was a fully deserved defeat.

Could it be the fault of our own National Coach, Avalawhatsoever. Is it time for us to have a new, better and well known coach to manage our team. Just look at Thailand, Vietnam and Myanmar(i think), all these three countries have replaced their previous managers to foreign coaches. Lets admit that we are not creating enough good coaches of our own to lead us to victory so lets do what the english are doing, recuriting a foreign coach.

Our current coach has done enough and he deserves the full credit but now we need a chance and a huge improvement in all aspect. With all due respect to our foreign based players but i think the locals will play with more passion than you.

Few weeks ago i read in the newspaper, the FAS or something giving incentives, bout 2000 or so, to the Singapore League Football Club to get more foreign players in the club. This will surely boost our league but could it significantly improve our national team? Take england for example, they have more foreign players in their top teams than their own countrymen. Use the money to boost our youth system or the club training facilities! Or just give it to me to buy a new pair of boots!

Recruiting foreign players is not a child's play. Take malaysian league for example, rumour has it, some malaysian football clubs are randomly picking foreign players from abroad and playing mix-n-match with these players. If these players fail to blend in or perform, they are just thrown away like litters, even if they have not ended their contracts or when not much time was givn for them to settle in.

Once my secondary english teacher told me that the strenght of the national team lies on the national football league. With its league producing good and competivie players, together with annual production of youth players, surely our nation could atleast be in the finals of the ASEAN CUP or be fighting for the AFC qualifying cup with passion, victories or the least, an interesting match for the fans. Not just a few tap-ins and boring draws and stupid flying tackles.. and the list goes on..

it felt like 2 days.
time flies like flies flying over the nuggets that we love to eat.
no denying that it was a difficult journey since day 1.
i would irritate you with disagreeing with you almost all of the time and would frequently tease you of every single details. everything was fun though, the laughter, the pinches that u gave me, the scratched that u have left marks on me and not forgetting the quarrels that we have been through.

i know we can go further and do wonders. we may have known each other from top to toe but i am sure that there are still much we can learn from each other. in addition to that i hope we could work things out through thin and thick, not giving up easily in times of diversity. not forgetting that we shouldnt forget who we are without the help of our friends and what they have done to get us together. i thank them for their helps.

" A blaze at a top Bangkok nightclub killed 59(61 Today's newspaper) people and injured more than 100(243, Today's newspaper) others as people celebrating the New Year stampeded out of the burning building, police said on Thursday.

The cause of the fire was under investigation with witnesses saying it was caused by fireworks and media reporting it was due to an electrical fault. Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva visited the injured at one hospital and at the charred building, saying firecrackers should not have been brought inside the club.

Among the dead was a Singaporean man, identified as Teo Sze Siong. Forensic experts were unable to identify at least 30 bodies as they had no identification documents with them, doctors said, adding it would take them at least a week to do so.

Foreigners treated in hospitals included those from Japan, Australia, the Netherlands and France, police said.

Although details were sketchy, witnesses said clubbers were given sparklers shortly before midnight and as soon as clocks heralded the start of 2009, fireworks started going off inside the dance area, sparking a conflagration.

"We were all dancing and suddenly there was a big flame that came out of the front of the stage and everybody was running away," partygoer Oh Benjamas told Reuters on the street outside the smoldering wreckage of the Santika club.

"People started running for the doors and breaking the windows," she said.

Dozens of bodies wrapped in white cotton sheets lay on the pavement outside as fire crews moved in to douse the embers of the club on Ekkamai, a street popular with foreign revelers and high-society Thais.

Many of the bodies were charred beyond recognition and the blaze had completely gutted the building. Rescue teams used pick-up trucks to ferry bodies from the scene.

Witness Tos Maddy, who estimated 400 people were packed inside the building, said he heard what he thought was an electrical explosion around 1230 a.m. (1730 GMT), followed by a stampede for the exits.

"Everything went boom and people started running. The fire went very quickly," he told Reuters.

Others described flames licking the ceiling before it caved in.

"I was in the bathroom and when I walked out, I saw flames in the roof and it fell to the floor," 28-year-old Montika Boontang told Reuters in nearby Bangkok Hospital, where the majority of the injured were being treated.

Thanat Wongsanga, a neighborhood police official, said the cause of the blaze had not yet been determined. Local media said an electrical fault was probably to blame.

The Health Ministry's emergency center said 59 people had been killed and 184 people had been injured. Most of the victims died of suffocation or severe burns, it said. "

ok i think i've slightly injured my left arm. the pain is at the joints between my arm and body.
i've to restrict the movement of that arm. this is probably my first injury due to football. thankfully it isnt any serious but just a minor knock i think.

Today or was it yesterday, ohok, it was yesterday, so, yesterday, i had a wonderful birthday celebration with the cute small clique a.k.a CSQ. ok i am still awake and have nothing better to do other than FINALLY write a post.

i've never liked Shayne Ward but after listening to this song for a couple of times, i realized that this isnt that bad.

Breathless? Now, that word, breath, i usually mispell it. Adding an E after the H so it'll look like, breathE-less. Breath is bREATH, the air that we BREATHED in. I will be watching the Singapore versus Vietname AFC semi-final match live at the National Stadium with my friends of course. I wanted to go with my mom but she has no interest. After watching the Thai versus Indon semi-final second leg, i have to say that Thai has the better chance of lifting up this year's cup. With all due respect to our national football team, the thais are better players! However better players doesnt necessarily guarantee success! PHAH!

Taking Man Utd for an example, they lost to Liverpool which do not have that much world class players as themselves. And Chealsea too, they also lost to Liverpool and hopefully to see a repeat of that with Liverpool triumph over Arsenal! You'll never walk alone!

What if i were to compete in an olympic game right now, i say either a cycling race or a 250m sprint?

How would i fair? would i fail miserably or atleast get a medal.

What i feel right now is, i could possibly get a bronze or silver and would never get the gold. i would try very hard, go for daily training and would sacrifice all that i could just to be in the podium spot. However, i would still fail to be the first. I would be even very lucky to be at the top 3. I surely cant do that without the help of either the fans' support or drugs like steroids.

All these could either be considered cheating or simply just trying too hard. What if i could win a race without even trying? Is it fair to the other racers or could it be that the race is meant for me to win? Or maybe when it doesnt even require any effort, the race could be boring or just doesnt work out for me. Nevertheless, i guess working less or giving less effort would mean, things are mentally working out pretty well. Technically, i dont know. By the way, if it is technically, it should easily fit just like a perfect jigsaw puzzle settling in.

Lets say, I'm about to start a race now, i've registered myself in a 500m race. I have faced several qualifying rounds and faced many opponents before this. However for this particular race, i have too many good opponents and too many hard obstacles. I aint complaining bout them but sometimes, when i am trying too hard and things dont go my way, i would feel devastated. I would feel like a failure, not getting the pole position, the gold medal that i've been waiting for.

Anyone would be pleased with either silver or bronze but for how long is the question. I could endure that much but for how long? You cant pour any more water into a full glass you know. So yea, I would want a gold medal for this race or for every race that im taking part; or just aiming for a gold without really achieving is more than enough. However if i am still trying soo hard yet failing, i might as well just try other events.

I guess most of the time, i've been feeling second and third standard. However, thankfully i didnt or havent yet face any worser positions, i might have faced them once in a while but i prefer remembering the good ones.

By now i'm sure some of you might be thinking that my race is a long one that i could run for years and years. In addition to that, the position isnt fixed as it keeps on changing every day which i am hoping for it to ends at top three or best, the gold medal.

Now for further elaboration..

Initially i was confident and were made feel like i am good to win the race. Eventually during the race, opponents after opponents kicking and slapping me in the face, making me feel as if i am totally useless, or didnt make enough effort to deserve atleast the top three places. In fact, the opponents did nothing much but its my own coach that is acting strange by treating other runners well. i dont mind him taking drugs or cheating his way to win but helping others and unrealizing that he is showing disloyalty behaviors to his own runner is just a worry.

Anyways, the race would be dirty but i will still hold on, running my ass out to reach the finishing line but what if i cant this time. Lets say, i am finally unable to reach even the top three just because the other opponents outshine me so well in everything. When what i have been doing is to work hard, train daily and hoping for the best. I have beliefs and faith that one day i will get there. I thought i've been a good and loyal runner? What else could the coach wants from me?

i am almost the perfect runner. or Is it that i have done wrong that i finally cant finish a race? Or i may not be the person that i thot i am. Could i have tripped myself during the race or got distracted by a glimmer of a coin or i was caught taking drugs in a race? Or could the problem lies with the coach? Never that i heard that i have done anything wrong so could it be possible that the coach is causing all these problems? If so, is it right if i leave to get a better coach? or should i just stick to this coach, hoping that he would change and hopefully great things could present itself ahead between the coach and i? Many questions in my mind right now. Can all of them be answered or are just questions for me to wait?

I do aware that no one is perfect, i suppose none of us is or maybe we can come close to near perfection. All we can hope for is understanding, cooperation and sincerity between us. But at times, we humans make mistake thus we need others to remind us what we have done wrong. Just hope that we accept what people say bout us, taking them as an opportunity to be a better human. Accepting our faults and has the willing to change for a better is a wonderful thing to do.

So people, the bottom line is, 'EVERY ACTION MATTERS'.

By the way, the tv series Gossip Girl is really making
my eyes literally stuck onto my laptop screen.
im starting to like the Serena and Dan couple. they are kinda cute. Serena being the understanding, rich and pretty girl; and also the one trying her best to set things right. Whilst Dan, the so-called, lonely guy, hating the high end students, is kinda cute with how he is trying his best to impress Serena. Oh yeah, Blake Christina Lively who acts as Serena Van Der Woodsen is so gorgeous! She lived up to her name, lively. Just look at her smile and pose! (:

We all do know that Serena likes or probably loves Dan for who and what he is, she doesnt mind dating out with him at a bar playing the pool. i just love to see couples spending great time with each other, without any other parties disturbing the romance. I could learn alot bout relatioships from watching Gossip Girl. One of them is, couples dont always get what they want or what each individual wants and sometimes we need compromisations or just the understanding of the other party, could easily solve a problem. This is purely based on what i have seen so far, i am still at season 1 episode 7, i am such a laggard.

Anyways, Dan is also cute when he tries to start conversations with people. Most of the time people around him just couldn't get what he is trying to say. Just maybe im just like him. -.-
